FAQ
-
Our first session is a space to talk about what brings you in, what you’d like to change, and what’s been getting in the way. Together, we’ll identify goals and begin creating a plan that fits your needs and pace. Therapy is collaborative — you set the focus, and I help guide the process.
-
Sessions are typically 30-50 minutes and take place weekly or biweekly, depending on your preferences and goals. Consistency helps maintain momentum and progress, but we can adjust as needed
-
Yes. I provide secure, HIPAA-compliant video sessions for anyone located in California. Telehealth allows you to meet from the comfort of your own space while maintaining the same confidentiality and quality of care as in-person sessions.
-
Unfortunately, I do not offer in-person sessions. I am 100% telehealth.
-
I work with adults, adolescents, and families on issues such as:
Anxiety and stress
Depression and low motivation
Trauma and recovery
Relationship and boundary challenges
Self-esteem and personal growth
Life transitions and adjustment difficulties
-
I take an integrative, evidence-based approach that’s tailored to each person’s unique needs. Some of the methods I draw from include:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Helps identify and change unhelpful thought patterns.
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT): Builds mindfulness, emotional regulation, and distress tolerance skills.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT): Encourages living in alignment with your values.
Brainspotting: A gentle, brain-body method that supports deep emotional processing and trauma healing.
Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, I combine techniques that best fit your goals and comfort level.
-
I accept Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross/Blushield, UHC and IEHP.
If I am considered an out-of-network provider. This means I do not bill insurance directly, but I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Many clients receive partial reimbursement depending on their plan.

It’s normal to feel uncertain before starting therapy. The best way to find out is to schedule a consultation. We’ll discuss your goals and see whether my approach feels like a good fit.
